WE HAVE GREAT NEWS!!!!

Oh Ya! Oh Ya! JUSTIN GOT ACCEPTED TO MEDICAL SCHOOL!!!!

Even Kaden was soooo excited!!

Kayli knew she was supposed to be excited about something!

We went to Outback Steakhouse to celebrate big!

Justin interviewed on Weds and they told him they would call him on Friday to let him know if they wanted him or not. Justin felt that the interview went well. It wasn't quite like he expected. It was a lot more layed back then he thought it was going to be. He flew home on Thursday. They called him while he was at the airport on Thursday and told him that he really impressed them and they wanted him to come to that school. VCOM, part of Virginia Tech, by the way. He was so excited! He called me and told me. He was so cute, he would just randomly start laughing. I think he was still in a little shock. I, of course started crying. He is still so excited. He'll randomly says, "I'm a med student", with a big smile. So we'll head to Virginia in July or August 2009. I don't think I'm ready to lose my husband to his studies. I'm definitely not looking forward to that part. I guess I'll only be widowed for 4 years, right?

We are so so proud of Justin! He has worked so hard to get to this point. It was a little stressful, no A LOT stressful to get here, but I know it will all be worth it in the end. At least that's what I keep telling myself :). We love Justin so much. He is so great and he wanted this so bad. I know the Lord blessed us immensely. Thank you so much for all your prayers. We couldn't have done it without the Lord's help and your support.

AWESOME! What an exciting time for you guys. I'm sure he will do really well, he almost "looks the part". Med School isn't as bad as you are probably imagining, though. Summers are off, long holiday breaks... you might be surprised. It was a really fun time in our lives. (Now residency, on the other hand... don't go there yet.) We will be excited to live the adventure with you!

You don't get summers off at VCOM. Not much time for holidays, either. It really isn't too bad, though. You guys will be just fine, and the wards there are awesome. Lorie is right about residency. Be prepared...the worst is yet to come. We're with you the whole way!!

NO SUMMERS OFF?? Holy crap! Oh, I guess since it's an Osteopathic program, he probably has to spend that time learning "manipulative medicine", right? Virginia is a long ways away.... (sigh)
