Well, we've had an emotional last few days. Justin called me Monday morning from work and told me that he had just been layed off from his job. The company that he was working for has been too slow and had to let go of quite a few people. I started crying (trying not to do so, because I was at work-Curves at the time). So right now we're trying to figure out what to do and how we are going to provide for our family. Kinda stressful. On the other hand, we do have some good news. A few hours after Justin got layed off we got a phone call from VCOM, the medical school in VA that Justin would love to go to. His first choice, actually. Anyway, they asked him to come interview with them December 10th!!!!!!!!!
I of course, started crying again. Justin was so excited. Now he's just got to win the board over and GET INTO THAT SCHOOL! So we had quite the day. Pretty emotional with lots of mixed feelings. So if anyone has any ideas for a job, let us know or just keep us in your prayers. :)

I'm so sorry about Justin losing his job. I can't tell you how many people I have heard about losing their jobs because of the economy. Justin is a smart guy though, so I'm sure he will have no problem finding another one. Congrats on the interview, that is exciting! Hope all goes well for you guys. Too bad we won't be able to get together over Thanksgiving. Hope you have fun Boise. Hopefully I'll get to see you guys over Christmas.
Crystal! I am so sorry! What a stressful time for you guys! Oh Yuck! Door to door security sells is always an option! Ew...that option makes Ryan sick to his stomach! You are working at Curves?! You are such a hard worker! BUT...Congrats on the interview though! That is really exciting and I know that everything is going to work out for you guys! We loved Virginia for the summer that we were there! Love you girl! Keep that chin up!
I am sorry and congratulations all in one sentence. I wish I had advice for a job but since we haven't worked in about 4 years we are clueless other than podiatry.
That is so awesome that he got an interview at his #1 choice for schools. VA is really close to PA and we could maybe see each other once and awhile. Keep us posted on what happens. Love you and will keep you in our hearts and prayers.
That is a crazy day! You're going to be blessed, I just know it. It always seems that the scariest times in life have resulted in our biggest blessings. I love you so much. You'll be in our prayers. Maybe this is a blessing--he'll have some extra time to spend with you and the kids before he dives into a demanding grad program where you'll hardly get to see him. ;)
Crystal......that is SO EXCITING about the school. What a blessing! Things will bounce back, they always do, right?? We'll be praying for you guys. Oh man, I understand the stress. I'm so worried about getting into a school, I think I have ulcers from it. Not really, but you know what I mean.

You know there's a spot for you on "R" Mountain! Maybe Richard could "home school" Justin in the art of become a Dr. ha, ha. Wow, that is a really funny image in my mind. I'm sure he will get in somewhere... hopefully VCOM! That's huge! He will find work again. He's so nice and a hard worker. Give the kids a kiss for me! We are still saving Kayli for Drew, right?
I'm sorry to hear that Justin got layed off, I hope that he will find a new job soon. That's great that he has an interview with V.C.O.M, I'm sure that he will do great! I know the Lord is looking out for you guys so I'm sure it will turn out alright even though, sometimes, it is hard for us to see it. I wish you guys the best of luck.
I hope more sunnier days continue to come to cover up the bad! So random... My sister and Heidi Parkinson are like best friends! I've even met heidi before. I guess heidi was looking at my blog and saw you and put it all together! So crazy. I never thought of it, seeing how I think of you as a Cox, not Parkinson! Anyhow, I hope things are looking up!
