We went on Friday to be judged for the first time. We were supposed to be with a group of five and we did our thing trying to get our "babies" to be the cutest while the judges judged. We ended up only having two, Kayli and another little girl in our group. Of course I thought Kayli was cuter:). Kayli sang "Wheels on the bus" just the first line for the judges then she wanted to go to then middle of the stage. She wouldn't listen to me and started being the stubborn independent Kayli we all know and love. After the judges saw that, I didn't think we would get a call back to be in the finals the next day on Saturday. I was pretty disappointed. It cost ten bucks to enter and it was for nothing (so I thought). They called us that day at 3:00 and told us that she was picked and we needed to come back the next day for the final baby contest. I couldn't believe it! We were all so excited!

Afterward I was so disappointed because she didn't perform like I wanted her to. She is so independent and does whatever Kayli wants to do. I guess it was okay, because we got into the finals!
